The Federal Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) Forum Awards Program was established in 2007, as set forth in the CPIC Forum Charter. It is designed to encourage support for the Mission and Goals of the Forum by recognizing outstanding individual and organizational achievements and contributions in capital planning and related areas
(Enterprise Architecture (Ea), Portfolio Management (PfM) and Earned Value Management (EVM), and for promoting and supporting the Forum.

name change
In 2013, The CPIC Forum Conference Executive Steering Committee and Advisory Board was to change the name of the CPIC Awards of Excellence to the Godlove-Cooper CPIC Awards of Excellence, recognizing the significant CPIC community contributions of Mrs. Stacey Godlove and Mr. Terry Cooper; posthumously. Mrs. Godlove and Mr. Cooper are survived by their wonderful and amazing families.
